Eligibility Criteria

As Access Innovation is part-funded by the European Regional Development Fund (ERDF) there are strict eligibility criteria regarding which organisations can benefit from the support.

The basic eligibility criteria are that:

1.   You must be an SME (small to medium sized enterprise).

♦ SMEs are defined as having between 1 – 250 full time equivalent staff;
♦ Having a turnover last year of no more than €50 million (roughly £42.5 million); and
♦ No more than 25% of the company can be owned by another organisation that isn't an SME.

2.   You must be based in Lincolnshire (excluding North Lincolnshire), North Nottinghamshire or the Welland area.

There are some sector restrictions on the type of organisations that can benefit from the project.

The main restrictions are that retail (direct to customer), farming, horticulture, banking, insurance, mainstream health, and mainstream education cannot benefit (as there are other funding packages available for these sectors).

Interested but not sure if you are eligible?

No problem... contact the Access Innovation Project Manager, who will be happy to assess your eligibility.
