The aim of this consultancy project was to identify the best approach to managing the advertising budget of the host company. This involved an analysis of the marketing mix in order to identify the best way(s) of making the target audience more aware of the company’s presence in the market.

The students found the data collection and analysis daunting at first due to their lack of experience; however they kept it simple to avoid any complications.They also found that getting responses from people on the high street was very hard and often frustrating.Tutor, Nick Taylor, suggested this was character building, and the students agreed!

BattlesThe aim of this study was to investigate how to increase motivation for manufacturing workers at Battle, Haywood & Bower. To do this the students needed to understand which non financial rewards can increase staff motivation; identify what Battles is doing well (and not so well), and recommend new practices that can be implemented to achieve higher levels of employee motivation.
